In Southern Italy, Tucci is slang for “grandfather”, and at Tucci’s, you’ll find an elegant yet family-friendly restaurant that diners of every generation will enjoy. A private dining room will comfortably seat up to 40 guests, making it an ideal venue for a rehearsal dinner or bridal shower. There is no charge for the room, and buffet prices start at just $8.99 per person. Plated dinners are also available.
Tucci’s opened in October 2009 in a remodeled Armenise’s Eighteen 75. It is conventiently located in front of Northfield Square Mall in Bourbonanis, less than 1/4 mile from the Illinois Route 50 / U.S. 57 interchange. Enter either from the frontage road that circles the mall or from the west side of the Best Buy parking lot.
Tucci's offers stone-baked pizzas, numerous pasta dishes, chicken, fish and seafood, steak and chops, and sandwiches. Endless salad and breadsticks can be added to any meal, or ordered on its own.
The patio offers Al Fresco dining during warm weather. The bar has several big-screen TVs for watching the game, with seating at both booths or high-top tables. Kids eat free every Tuesday.
Testimonial
On January 1, 2011, my daughter Rebecca married her prince charming, the man of her dreams, Tyler. They had a small but beautiful ceremony at our Church in Manteno. Decorated in white lights and a winter theme, it was picture perfect. We had a private reception party at Tucci’s in Bourbonnais immediately following the ceremony. Joe Armenise opened for us privately on New Years Day, his staff worked tirelessly and did an amazing job transforming their restaurant into a private reception room for us that was absolutely picture perfect. Every detail was carried out with a personal touch. The room resembled an Italian cafe decorated with white tables, candles and unending charm. My daughter and her new husband enjoyed incredible Italian food (their favorite, and Tucci’s specialty) in a quaint and charming venue. I can't thank Joe Armenise and his staff at Tucci’s enough for helping to make my daughter’s dream of a picture-perfect wedding come true. They really went out of their way to make sure every detail was to order. Tyler is a Ranger in the US Army and leaves for Afghanistan in a few short weeks. My daughter will be returning home to stay with us during his deployment, I’m sure we will be returning to Tucci’s again and again not only for the great food, but to recapture the memories of a picture-perfect wedding. Thanks Joe Armenise and all our friends at Tucci’s.
Sincerely,
Bonnie Austell
